Kerry’s built heritage and the county’s architectural landscape will be celebrated during the eighth annual Architecture Kerry Festival with events from 24th September to 8th October. A wide range of events including free guided tours and exhibitions will take place around the county.

New for 2025, the Architectural Association of Ireland and Architecture Kerry will present Peripheral Vision to examine architecture built in the margin, projects built on or within places of periphery, edge and in-between in Saint James’s church, Dingle on Thursday 25th September.

On 26th and 27th September, the Irish Georgian Society, the Trustees of Muckross House CLG and Architecture Kerry will host the Kingdom of Skills at Muckross Schoolhouse which includes talks and demonstrations from over two dozen practitioners and free conservation clinics. Students and anyone interested in traditional skills and crafts are especially welcome.

On Saturday 27th September, Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society hosts The Massacre at Dún an Óir at An Díseart in Dingle, featuring poets, historians, folklorists, archaeologists and literary critics. An afternoon to celebrate Gardens on the Edge of Europe will be held at Glanleam House on Valentia Island on Sunday, 28th September at 1pm.

The Cork Centre for Architectural Education (CCAE) will showcase Re-Imaging Caherdaniel at Derrynane House, Caherdaniel on Friday 3rd October at 3.30pm and a seminar on the architectural, social, historical and cultural landscape of The Spa and Environs in Tralee Bay will feature on Saturday 4th October at 10am in Kerry County Museum, Tralee.

From Friday 20th September to Wednesday 8th October, Architecture Kerry presents a range of free guided tours of renovated buildings, lighthouses, castles, country houses, walking tours, town centre adaptation projects, low carbon homes, exhibitions, street art, sculpture, and much, much more!
