Wonky Town: Kate Plum
Kate Plum Kate Plum is a professional visual artist based in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Currently, she works mostly with watercolours and acrylics. Kate is a member of Visual Artists Ireland (VAI) and International Watercolour Society (IWS). Kate’s paintings could be seen in Royal Ulster Academy of Arts in Belfast, Kerry Visual Artists’ Showcase in Killarney, Siamsa Tire in Tralee, RUA Red Gallery in Dublin and national art festivals (K-Fest in Co. Kerry, Westival in Co. Mayo) and annual charity exhibition “INGOGNITO’.

The annual awards offer a fascinating insight into current architectural practice in Ireland. The RIAI awards tell the story of what is happing in Ireland’s built environment and showcase the best of what is happening in architecture around the country. Kerry County Council is delighted to continue our partnership with the RIAI and is grateful that the awards are continuing their annual trip to Kerry to be showcased as part of the Architecture Kerry programme.
